Tips & Tricks # 15 - Check Your Answer-sheet before submitting.

Hello Students. Here is 15th Tip to help you score 100/100 in chemistry. Check Your Answer-sheet before submitting. After finishing the paper, check your answers completely, before submitting it to the invigilator. By this you can rectify your mistakes. In case you spot any mistake, correct it, even if that makes your answer sheet- a bit untidy. In fact, you should keep last 20 minutes, before the final bell, to check your answers. OK. What else to do in final check? 1. Check Your Name / Roll No. on the Answer sheet. There are times when failing to put your name on the answer sheet will result in a failing grade. An answer sheet that doesn’t have a name attached to it will be tossed out. 2. Check all the Question numbers before the answer. Make it a habit of writing the question number clearly first before writing the answer. 3. Check all the questions attempted and leave no blank space for any answer. There is no negative marking for wrong answers in board exams. If time permits, try to answer the questions you aren’t sure about it. Even if you know a point or two, attempt it. Just think even one or two marks here and there can make a big difference. 4. Re-check your work and make sure each multiple choice question has only one answer circled. You’d be surprised how many times students choose two answers in multiple choice. This makes both answers wrong. 5. Double check any work you transfer from a scratch sheet. The most frustrating mistake for numerical problems is having an answer correct on the scratch paper, but transferring it wrong to the Answer sheet. 6. Check the numerical values and units transferred directly from the Question paper to answer sheet. Your whole answer will be wrong if right values are not transferred. Avoid such careless mistakes and get good marks. Remember! never leave an examination hall early, use your complete time. Don’t forget – you can only do your best. Good luck!
